- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Progress toward CPA or solid foundational understanding of GAAP and core accounting logic
- Experience partnering across cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with the curiosity to identify issues and the ability to assess risks
- SAP S/4HANA experience preferred

- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field of study

Position Purpose:
The Sr. Analyst, S/4 Inventory Process Engineering will help support the design and implementation of SAP S/4 inventory accounting processes across the organization. They will support financial validation of SAP S/4 store conversion through pilot and rollout activities including, monitoring and validating financial accuracy, supporting financial defect identification and resolution, and driving associated change management. The Sr. Analyst will also partner with Finance/Accounting, IT and Product to define and implement future-state inventory flows, ensuring processes align with new SAP S/4 driven financial posting and reporting requirements. This position is part of the broader Merchandise Inventory Accounting team and a world-class Controllership organization, which serves as a strategic and innovative partner focused on financial statement integrity and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
75% Operational Duties: Partners with Product, IT and Business teams to understand new initiatives, builds out current and to-be accounting and system process maps to identify financial exposure points, supports leadership while defining financial requirements, and acts as the primary point of contact for defining test cases and performing UAT.
10% Collaboration: Partners with IT/Product and Business teams to learn about changes and support testing, production troubleshooting, and resolution efforts.
10% Project Support: Partners with the Manager and/or the Lead Analyst to work through continuous improvement efforts and special projects
5% Skill Building & Professional Development: Seeks further knowledge on key developments and trends within finance (e.g., analytics, intelligent automation, robotics)
