What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead security and IT initiatives to support the SOX roadmap and advance program maturity
- Assist with SOX planning activities, including scoping IT systems and creating training materials
- Conduct security control gap assessments over the SOX control environment and recommend remediation plans
- Build relationships with stakeholder teams to advise on SOX requirements and ensure control excellence
- Create and improve SOX procedural documentation, including process documentation and data flow diagrams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5+ years of security/IT compliance or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Internal Controls over Financial Reporting and SOX 404 frameworks
- Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm
- Proven understanding and audit experience of cloud technologies, preferably AWS
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- BA or BS in a technical field or equivalent experience
- Security certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications
- Experience auditing in the cryptocurrency space
