- Manage overall operations of the Athletics Compliance Office
- Serve as the university's primary liaison in the area of NCAA legislation and governance
- Provide leadership in the eligibility certification process for freshmen, transfers, continuing student-athletes, and international student-athletes
- Lead the university's efforts to investigate and self-report violations of NCAA and conference rules. Review facts and case precedent and serve as the university's liaison to the NCAA and conference office to determine whether violation occurred and appropriate penalties to impose
- Bachelor's Degree
- One year of management experience
- Minimum of five or more years of NCAA compliance experience
- Minimum of five or more years of intercollegiate athletics experience
- Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis

Under the general direction of the Director of Athletics, the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance will support and enhance the Cal Poly Athletic Department. The incumbent will educate, oversee, enforce, and interpret conference and NCAA regulations. The position will develop, direct, supervise, evaluate, and oversee all aspects of Athletics compliance and eligibility certification in conjunction with various university officials for the 20 Division I level sponsored programs, including strategic planning, policy implementation, comprehensive rules education and monitoring systems, interpretations, waivers, investigations, and self-reporting of violations.

Salary and Benefits
The anticipated hiring range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 annually. Note that the offer is calculated based on the background and relevant years of experience of the individual selected.
