What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver tailored climate risk solutions and insights to energy clients across North America
- Identify growth opportunities and refine offerings in the climate risk advisory sector
- Build and maintain relationships with account executives and brokers within the energy team
- Manage project execution and staff to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs
- Collaborate with analytics colleagues to enhance analytics and develop marketing materials
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 9 years of experience working directly with clients on analytics delivery, including catastrophe analytics
- Strong knowledge of physical risk modeling and catastrophe models; knowledge of climate models is a plus
- Expertise in data preparation, mapping, and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, ArcMap, or QGIS
- Strong academic background in a quantitative field like meteorology, engineering, climatology, or mathematics
- Ability to write complex reports and business correspondence
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degrees in a quantitative field are a plus
- Experience in developing and enhancing analytical models for climate risk
- Familiarity with client engagement strategies in the energy sector
- Proven track record of managing project pipelines and tracking opportunities
- Skills in creating impactful marketing materials to illustrate capabilities
