- Strategic Planning: Support the annual strategic planning process by leading the development of breakthrough consumer centric programs.
- Agency management: Write inspiring briefs for agencies, provide effective and timely feedback, and unleash the full potential of our partners.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Develop, deliver, and iterate plans continuously with a resourceful, obsessive, and fearless mindset with a focus on proving the case for brand expansion.
- Agile: Results-orientation and ability to operate with agility to run with test and learn approach.
- Collaboration & Integration: Lead a cross functional and agency working team, which includes but is not limited to the global brand owners, agencies, field marketing, sales, consumer insights, marketing accelerator/media and other business departments fostering and building a strong multi-functional team.
- Analysis and Reporting: Lead the analysis and reporting of market and competitor trends to identify salient business issues/opportunities, working with divisional sales/marketing teams as necessary.
- Research: Perform analysis/construct research programs and derive implications to ensure marketing programs/expenditures meet KPIs. Consistently seek to improve the existing programming.
- Competitive Analysis and Implications: Assist with the development of the Strategic Brand Review by analyzing category opportunities, identifying key consumer targets, innovation opportunities, and activation strategies.
- 7+ years of business experience, with most recent experience in a manager or senior manager level role in wine & spirits, CPG, creative agency, or media agency on the client side.
- Managed large and culturally iconic brands with large A&P spends.
- Developed brand strategies grounded in insights and analytics.
- Managed and partnering with a broad set of stakeholders in a matrix organization as well as external agency partners.
- Directly managed financials and business performance including budget management.
- Supported or led the development of a national brand plan.

The salary range for this role, based in New York is $127,900 to $175,900, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
Position Summary:
The Senior Brand Manager, Malibu will work closely with the Brand Director of Maibu & Kahlúa in driving the growth agenda for Malibu. He/she/they will exhibit a general manager mindset and will be responsible for leading key projects that will aim to achieve three critical goals; 1) build brand equity, 2) grow household penetration and 3) drive brand performance via long-term, profitable growth. The Sr. Brand Manager with lead multiple cross functional project teams involving Marketing Accelerator/Media Team, Finance, Shopper Marketing, Field Marketing, Global Marketing, and Innovation. He/she/they will partner with relevant Brand Companies and Agencies to develop local brand plans, Media to Shelf programs and platforms that are consistent and align with global brand positioning.

This role requires a highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion and enthusiasm. Strong entrepreneurial ability to work around obstacles, results driven, and a bias for action with a pilot/learn/scale approach where necessary. Must be skilled at leading and influencing teams.
