What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with stakeholders across Internal Sales, Underwriting, Customer Service, and Product to understand business goals and technical constraints
- Lead the documentation of business requirements for policy sales, servicing workflows, and product rules configuration
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for IT development teams
- Analyze internal user workflows to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency in policy processes
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and participate in UAT
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the insurance industry
- Knowledge of the personal auto insurance policy lifecycle, including quoting, binding, and servicing
- Experience with configuring or supporting policy administration platforms
- Familiarity with insurance product structures, rating logic, and underwriting rules
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interact with various stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience supporting large-scale policy or core systems modernization efforts
- Experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Rally
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented documentation approach
