      Are you keen to resolve global supply chain disruptions through software digitization? We are looking for a Business Development Manager, Global Trade Solutions to drive sales for our global trade related software solution, primarily focused on automotive industry in Japan.


      About the Role
      In this opportunity as Senior Business Development Manager, Global Trade, you will:

      • Grow sales in collaboration with territory managers, solution consultants to deliver gross sales within Japanese automotive industry

      • Drive the entire sales process ranging from lead generation to deal closure, with major emphasis on opening up new business, both within existing accounts and new customers

      • Keep abreast of the FTA/EPA related news especially those which will have direct impact towards automotive industry

      • Draft and prepare proposal documents

      • Assist in key retention situations as required

      • Ensure timely reporting of the sales activity and maintaining salesforce.com updated at all times for accurate forecasting

      • New logo acquisition


      About You

      You're a fit for the role of Senior Business Development Manager, Global Trade if your background includes:

      • Bachelor Degree or equivalent

      • Understanding of solution sales process

      • Expertise of the rules and regulations related to Free Trade Agreement Working experience in either third-party logistics (3PL) or Japanese automotive industry

      • Proficiency in native Japanese and business level English. Those who are keen to improve their English speaking in an international environment are welcomed to apply.

      • Self-motivation and strong personal drive and energy to exceed expectations.
