      The position

      As Business Partner you will be responsible for driving, facilitating, and developing true value creation for the Data Science organisation to unlock our business aspirations and ensure appropriate resource allocation and prioritisation.

      This includes building resource models, ensuring clear business priorities and well thought through business cases that maximises value end-to-end, and optimising processes across our value chain ultimately enabling new medicines to patients.

      As our business partner, you will set a clear direction for resource allocation and follow-up on key business priorities, including being able to measure tangible progress, supporting ambitious target setting for the business, and being an active driver in fulfilling them. This also involves making tangible business cases to ensure well thought through big investments. Additionally, you secure close alignment on priorities and dependencies across Data Science for major ongoing initiatives.

      Your responsibilities will include to drive:

      • Resource allocation across Data Science including drive decision on where and how to invest in the area
      • Business cases for new investments and ensure benefits are realised
      • Visual traction of business goals
      • Culture within the team, characterised by curiosity, passion, openness, and psychological safety

      As well as ensuring that the end-to-end value chain focus in deliverables

      Qualifications

      You hold a university degree within Finance, Business or Business Intelligence and have at least 3-6 years of relevant work experience.

      In addition, to be a successful Business Partner, the following qualifications are required:

      • Strong problem-solving skills with curiosity to understand and dive into problems systematically while focusing on the overall purpose and end-goal
      • You can set clear direction, prioritise, and communicate a compelling purpose and vision with passion and urgency on all levels of the organisation
      • Experience with Business Intelligence tools is preferred, but most importantly you are curious to learn and have strong analytical skills
      • A passion for digitalisation is an advantage

      Data Science is an area within Development, responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide, from early development phases to product introduction and life cycle management. In Data Science our focus is to deliver data and data insights through advanced analytics to support new drug submission. We provide insights to fact-based decisions on new drugs and indications for Novo Nordisk product portfolio, which make a difference for the patients.

      In Data Science Strategic & Digital Development, we drive the strategy and operations across the Data Science organisation. We support the Data Science Leadership Team in setting the scene, the goals and follow-up on deliverables. This leads the planning and designing of the Data Science strategy, and we drive and oversee implementation. We collaborate and liaise intensively with other areas both within Development and across Novo Nordisk.
