What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as the primary liaison between the application team and the user community, facilitating communication and coordinating system enhancements
- Define business requirements in detail to support systems configuration and operational activities
- Guide user community in developing business use cases and coordinate quality assurance testing efforts
- Provide implementation and production support for software components of moderate to high complexity
- Educate and train team members on the effective use of application systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business area plus 4 years of IT or business experience
- 6 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Advanced knowledge of systems analysis focusing on customer requirements and software development lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex issues
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the healthcare (Health Plan) domain
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and analyzing data
- Familiarity with Health Plan EDI mapping and processing (e.g., 278/837/834/820/835)
- Experience in writing Business Requirements Documents and EDI Guides
- Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt to new systems easily
