      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Analyze, investigate, and resolve coding-related claims denials and rejections for inpatient and outpatient services
      - Perform first and second-level coding-related denial appeals, ensuring compliance with federal and state coding laws
      - Conduct monthly audits to evaluate coding accuracy and develop education plans for coding staff
      - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to clarify clinical documentation and optimize coding assignments
      - Maintain a high standard of productivity, ensuring timely coding and billing processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma or equivalent
      - Successful completion of college courses in Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, and a certified coding course
      - Minimum of 10 years of experience in ICD, CPT/HCPCS coding of inpatient and outpatient medical records in an acute care facility
      - Proficient in using computerized coding and abstracting database software and encoding/code-finder systems
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 1-2 years of lead experience in a coding environment
