What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor, evaluate, and interpret data on the Commercial Loan portfolio related to the Credit Risk Rating Framework
- Assist with the review of Probability of Default and Loss Given Default Masterscales and recommend improvements to Credit Risk Management
- Support the PD and LGD Masterscales using statistical analysis tools like SAS or PYTHON
- Collaborate with Model Risk Management to ensure model governance compliance
- Present portfolio risk summaries and dashboards to management and governance committees
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or four to five years of credit risk, financial, or business analysis experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of five years’ relevant experience in Banking, Risk, or Finance analysis
- Experience with preparing written documentation and/or papers/publications
- Proficiency in Statistical Analysis System (SAS), PYTHON, or similar tools
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of banking regulatory requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MBA preferred
- Experience in the development of Statistical Models
- Previous experience mentoring junior staff
- Familiarity with compliance and operational risk controls
