What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the performance of automated underwriting rules to meet profit, growth, and processing targets
- Develop and manage KPIs to assess automated underwriting performance
- Analyze trends and recommend changes to improve performance relative to business outcomes
- Manage the commercial lines underwriting rules management system (Sapiens Decisions)
- Provide updates and insights on automated underwriting performance to leadership
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical and analytical field
- Minimum of 5 years of Commercial Lines multi-line experience, with at least 2 years focused on underwriting or operations
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau and SAS, with a preference for Tableau
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Insurance designation(s) such as CPCU, ARM, AU, or progress towards them
- Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills
