      Senior Compliance Specialist - Program Management
      Job Description:

      Summary

      The Senior Compliance Specialist - Program Mgmt will assist the VP, Compliance Program Management with core compliance management functions including, but not limited to, compliance risk assessments, control and complaint monitoring, bank wide training and change management functions.

      Essential Duties & Responsibilities
      • Utilizes GRC platform to complete risk assessments identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk of regulatory non-compliance
      • Works with other Senior Compliance Specialists to develop and execute control testing and effectiveness ratings
      • Monitors compliance with laws and regulations throughout the bank and supported business lines, through complaint management and risk assessments
      • Assists in providing bank wide regulatory compliance training and develops content for targeted and role-based training programs
      • Remains proficient in all regulatory compliance matters, including reviewing and interpreting all new and revised regulations and ensuring enterprise-wide implementation
      • Performs other duties as assigned.


      Qualifications
      • A deep knowledge of the financial services industry and products, an understanding of compliance principles, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
      • Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
      • Ability to communicate verbally and/or in writing federal and state regulatory requirements to applicable business units and individuals
      • A strong understanding of root cause identification and compliance risk appetites
      • Organizing priorities and meeting deadlines
      • Effective initiative and decision-making skills


      Supervisory Responsibilities
      • None


      Education and/or Experience
      • Three to five years of related bank compliance experience
      • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
      • Knowledge and experience in banking regulations


      Computer and Software Skills
      • Prior experience, or ability to learn, Archer, Salesforce, and nCino
      • Skilled in operating a personal computer, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Workspace


      Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
      • CRCM preferred
