What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure actual construction costs align with forecasted expectations and support contract administration
- Manage data inputs between accounting systems and carry out billing reviews and data entry
- Own and maintain various KPI schedules and create databases related to projects and contracts
- Execute fixed asset accounting tasks including acquisition, disposals, and depreciation
- Provide technical accounting expertise and support the month-end and forecasting processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred
- 3-5 years of work experience in construction, real estate, or tech industries
- Advanced knowledge of construction cost accounting and understanding of GAAP
- Proficient in the Windows and Office 365 environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-level customer service with team members and partners
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Data Center or Construction industry experience
- Knowledge of Yardi Voyager and Procore
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to drive efficiencies using metrics and information
