What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assess, prioritize, and take action on requests to improve existing Security Operation Center (SOC) tools and procedures
- Partner with management to coordinate security incident response efforts and ensure resolution
- Evaluate and analyze complex malicious code using various tools
- Conduct reverse-engineering for known and suspected malware files
- Perform research on malicious software and recommend preventative actions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-3 years' experience as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst, including Incident Response and Handling roles
- Experience in Malware Reverse Engineering and Sandboxing
- Proficient in SIEM Technology and significant experience with Linux, TCP/IP, UNIX, MS-Windows, IP Routing, Firewalls, and IPS
- Deep understanding of advanced cyber threats and associated tools, tactics, and procedures
- Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with multi-cloud technologies such as Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS
- Demonstrated experience using Open Source malware analysis tools (e.g., OllyDbg, Radare, GDB)
- Ability to analyze shellcode and packed/obfuscated code
