What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business and the data that drives it
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets using statistical and visualization techniques through SQL and Tableau
- Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity and make actionable recommendations
- Develop and maintain dashboards that provide stakeholders with actionable insights
- Conduct extensive investigations to research and resolve data issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably in e-commerce or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, or computer science
- Strong SQL fluency in both DDL/DML and analytics
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Snowflake
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, paired with basic design principles
- Knowledge of data infrastructure and the relationship between backend engineering, data pipelines, and visual reporting tools
- Experience with Fivetran, GitHub, DBT, and Funnel.io
- Familiarity with JSON
