What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for FEMA debris management teams and state agencies
- Provide status updates on debris management for federally declared disasters to senior staff
- Facilitate dispute resolution on debris management issues involving various stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and FEMA policies in debris operations
- Conduct damage assessments to determine debris removal needs and eligibility

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, Emergency Management, Business, or a related field
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in emergency management or related areas
- Extensive knowledge of FEMA Public Assistance Program and relevant regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with FEMA grant management platforms such as FEMA GO and Grants Portal
- Knowledge of construction, engineering, and environmental assessments
- Experience in preparing legal briefs and courtroom presentations
- Understanding of the Stafford Act and National Flood Insurance Act (NFIA) programs
