What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate financial and clinical decision support services, ensuring project alignment with departmental goals
- Prepare reports, surveys, and special projects as requested by senior management
- Monitor and assess changes within the Medical System, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
- Conduct financial assessments and profitability analyses for hospital product lines
- Maintain documentation required for decision support clinical analyst data and ensure compliance with regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, managed care, or accounting
- Extensive knowledge of the PDS System and its application to multiple specialty areas
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to guide management and co-workers
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and other finance-related software programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in healthcare-related finance
- Experience with complex financial evaluations of new programs and ventures
- Familiarity with the Pathways Decision Support system
- Ability to develop and evaluate complex financial data through computer analysis
- Demonstrated problem-solving and team leadership skills
