What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design award-winning book jackets and covers
- Work closely with publishers and editors on cover designs from concept through approval
- Prepare mechanical files for production and review and correct proofs
- Partner with art directors and communicate progress on projects
- Consult with photographers, illustrators, and photo researchers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years design experience for Senior Designer; Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Senior Designer for Associate Art Director
- Proficient knowledge of the MAC platform and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in working on a wide variety of high-quality fiction and non-fiction titles
- Ability to meet deadlines and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in book cover design
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Interest in extending cover design into the social media landscape
