      About the role

      We are looking for an experienced, hands on analytics leader who can lead our Marketing, Product, and Business analytics functions while partnering with our leadership team to help drive the business forward. There has never been a more exciting time to join the Blue Apron team; as we get ready to relaunch the business from the ground up, we have the opportunity to refine our analytics approach as we introduce a new business model and technical stack. We’re looking for a leader who will be responsible for driving data-informed decision-making across the organization by delivering strategic insights, building scalable data capabilities, and leading a high-performing analytics team. This role will report directly to the Head of Blue Apron and you’ll partner closely with our finance, marketing, strategy, and culinary orgs.

      Key responsibilities:

      • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute an analytics vision and roadmap that aligns to our business goals, act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team
      • Team Development: Foster a high-performance team culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
      • Analytics and Insights: Oversee the development and deployment of dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical models that are self-service for the business; Provide deep insights into customer behavior, operational performance, and market trends.
      • Marketing Analytics: Support marketing analytics team as they partner with marketing to scale our marketing efforts with an eye to maximizing ROI and drive product development with a focus on conversion, retention and engagement
      • Business forecasting: Partner closely with business and finance to develop long term forecasting models across key business functions (e.g. revenue, demand, supply customer behavior

      The experience you have

      • 10+ years of in-depth Analytics experience in partnership with Marketing, Growth, and Product Management departments
      • 5+ years of experience leading analytics or data teams, with a proven ability to manage senior individual contributors and managers.
      • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering). Master’s or MBA preferred.
      • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
      • Experience with experiment design and A/B test analysis across multiple KPIs
      • Ability to think through complex problems, determine proper analytical processes and procedures, independently derive conclusions and present results to the team
      • Detail-oriented, attention to detail and exceptionally organized. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
      • Expert proficiency with SQL
      • Experience with ETLs, preferably DBT
      • Experience with data visualization software such as Looker
      • Prior experience working with Media Mix Modeling, Multi-touch Attribution, TV/Audio Media Measurement, product machine learning implementations, causal inference, time series modeling, LTV calculations and segmentation

      Base Salary: $247,000 - $259,000 per year.

      Wonder Group uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.

      Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome—and encouraged—to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you.
