      Job Purpose
      To ensure that key client relationships are maintained through an account management structure that identifies and secures further commercial opportunities to retain & grow our client base. To oversee the management, negotiation, pricing, and execution of Alloga Europe’s commercial agreements, ensuring the company maximises its growth potential, capitalises upon commercial opportunities and reduces potential business risk through the continuation of contract term.


      This key position is open to suitable candidates located in countries in the Alloga network: UK, France, Spain, Netherlands, Romania, Norway, Czech Republic, with access to an office location in order to meet and collaborate with teams. Alloga's network locations can be reviewed on the company website. The position is available on a hybrid working basis and would require approximately 50% international travel.

      Key Tasks

      • Lead and oversee the management of the company’s key commercial agreements in a consistent way across all countries
      • To ensure all agreements are tracked, reviewed and within their agreed term.
      • To ensure key contractual clauses and events are identified and delivered against using tools such as a ‘contract-rate review tracker’.
      • To oversee and negotiate the agreement of client tariffs and rate increases to ensure they are appropriate for the services provided, maximise the revenue potential and using the company’s cost model, the costs associated.
      • To ensure client activity profile reviews (including post implementation reviews) are undertaken
      • Establish a Contract Variation Mechanism to routinely capture new contractual requirements and manages their implementation eg FMD Liabilities, GDPR and John Hall Index replacement etc.
      • Review the impact of increased Risks on Alloga’s Liabilities and determine a mechanism that maintains Alloga’s proportional risk eg Controlled Ambient Transportation, FMD and Increasing Product Values, Order to Cash & Product Title models
      • Working with colleagues to ensure client activity is captured and appropriately charged.
      • To work with the business development teams to explore, scope and potentially implement new business from existing clients, including opportunities for multi-country presence.
      • To implement a Key Account management process to foster great client relationships, ensure best practices are shared and a consistent approach is adopted across the countries, using shared resources and tools available
      • To effectively communicate areas of contractual risk to the business through tools such as the Risk Register
      • To support the business in identifying strategic initiatives and to support the management and commercial delivery of the company strategy and projects in accordance with strategic plans.
      • To ensure the 3PL commercial team provides commercial support, including pricing and charging for new activities and a successful handover of new clients/business from existing clients.
      • To maintain a reasonable level of understanding relevant to the industry, from both a regulatory (GDP) basis and commercial intelligence
      • To ensure that contact with clients is professional and responsive to their needs.
      • To ensure that the Company Health & Safety policies/standards are adhered to at all times.
      • To ensure that all accidents and near misses are reported immediately to the HS&E Manager
      • To ensure that all department activity is performed in accordance with company procedures and client instructions

      Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

      • Educated to Degree Standard
      • Minimum 5 years’ experience in developing contract backed logistics solutions.
      • Experience within the Pharmaceutical industry a distinct advantage
      • Understanding of supply chain / warehouse concepts
      • Understanding of Alloga UK cost base and modeling
      • Highly competent in standard office computer packages with excellent presentation skills
      • Sound knowledge of Good Distribution Practice & Supply Chain concepts
      • Trained in all relevant SOP’s within 3 months
