Responsible for developing a D&A portfolio across all global functions, with best-practice ways of working including programme governance, stakeholder management, and monitoring & reporting of business value delivery for all D&A use cases.
Define business problems and develop analytics solutions with a focus on operationalizing machine learning (ML) models and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
Evaluate the quality and performance of AI/ML models for operationalization, fostering sustainable enterprise solutions.
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data products for Finance & Procurement including data engineering to create analytics ready data sets, development of the data products, and on-going support and maintenance and enhancements.
Develop and mentor staff at all levels in a matrix organization and build an internal capacity to deliver high quality and highly innovative analytics services.
Develop our Generative AI roadmap and managing our solution space.
Educate technical and business leaders on the use of Generative AI.
Co-create with the business appropriate use-cases that will benefit from Generative AI
Work collaboratively with business leaders in Identifying critical business problems that could be solved using Generative AI. Identify opportunities to leverage the latest Large Language Models (LLMs)
Quickly prototype scenarios from LLMs till UX for user testing purposes
Influence the AI/ML stack like Feature Stores, Model Stores, and automated MLops to create most value out of LLMs.
Educate the organization both from IT and the business perspectives on Generative AI
Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Extensive years of experience in data science, machine learning, or artificial intelligence, with several years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of statistical modelling, machine learning, and deep learning techniques, and their practical applications in a business context.
Experience in time series, causal models and AI powered financial forecasting.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Experience in AI, Python programming, Deep Learning frameworks, and big data technologies, including PySpark, Synapse, and Databricks
Strong expertise in designing, creating, evaluating, and deploying models to production, monitoring, and governing data and analytics products.
Experience working with structured and, unstructured, data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrate exceptional executive-level relationship building skills with strong ability to influence others.
Leadership across a complex matrixed environment
Operating in a fast-paced business critical environment
Demonstrate excellent persuasion, negotiation, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
Experience with data platform management in Microsoft Azure, including data warehousing, data lakes, and data pipelines.
Master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

This leadership role will serve as the Data & Analytics (D&A) tech partner for Finance & Procurement plus additional responsibility for leading the development of a D&A portfolio for global functions to build sustainable D&A capabilities through activation of D&A use cases.
The role will act as a key driver for implementing the GSK enterprise D&A Strategy within Finance, Procurement & across global functions, and will support the ongoing Digital, Data & Analytics (DDA) transformation aligned with the company’s ongoing commitment to innovatively meet challenges and leverage opportunities posed by shifting market forces, evolving regulatory environments, changing patient needs and expectations, and emerging developments in healthcare.
Reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics for Global Functions, this role will serve as a functional D&A tech leader, and internal thought partner to Finance & Procurement DDA leaders to help shape and drive the transformation of GSK’s big data and analytics capabilities, culture, and best practices.
