      Introduction to role:
      Are you ready to transform the lives of people living with cancer by leading in patient experience and care? As a Senior Director for Digital Acceleration, you will be responsible for defining and executing digital product strategy and accountable for delivery of all tactics led by Digital Programme Leads. You will own the successful strategic implementation, scaling, and delivery of prioritised innovative digital medical solutions for local market deployment. This role is part of the Oncology Medical Communications & Information Leadership Team, with direct accountability to the Head of Global/US OBU MC&I.

      Accountabilities:
      Your role will involve working collaboratively with the Oncology Digital Innovation (ODI) teams and other Enterprise digital teams within AZ to define business requirements of new digital solutions and accelerate the effective development, adoption and scaling of new MC&I digital solutions holistically across AZ. You will also collaborate closely with OBU Digital Programme Leads to pitch ideas to the business and define ROI expectations for the execution of innovation opportunities. Additionally, you will be accountable for developing and executing digital content and channel strategy to effectively engage target audiences, enhance brand visibility, and drive customer engagement across various digital platforms and channels, in collaboration with other sub-functions in the team.

      Essential Skills/Experience:
      - Significant hands-on end to end experience in Building High-Quality digital tools for scientific engagement, hypercare and/or omnichannel.

      - Minimum of Master’s degree

      - Proven success/experience of implementing and scaling interoperable, disruptive, digital solutions at an enterprise level and supporting their delivery through a medical vision.
      - Experience working in a medical, Life Science/Pharma industry, based role.
      - Experience working in AI, including GenAI applications across MLR and content generation, Health Innovation, Product Development, Medical, NLP, IT and solution development.
      - Analytical mindset and data-oriented with the ability to distil complex topics to support hyper care in a timely, effective manner.
      - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, self-prioritise, think critically, analyse situations, deliver against aggressive timelines and adapt to change to achieve goals.
      - Proven strong leadership/managerial experience leading digital product teams, including oversight of financial resourcing.
      - Highly developed communication, interpersonal skills and influencing abilities across organisational teams and levels in a large complex operating environment.
      - Able to translate and present digital technology terminology into understandable business terms to non-technical stakeholders.
      - Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and act as an interface between IT, digital partners and customer experience to scale and deploy digital acceleration initiatives.
      - Strong creativity and attention to detail with a progressive 'visionary' mind-set to develop new approaches to tactical implementation for scaling digital initiatives.
      - At the cutting edge of knowledge on the application of big data, in AI, automation and personalisation in the healthcare landscape.
