- Responsible for shaping the future direction of their domain within the organization, assisting management to establish strategic roadmaps, and driving priorities to meet objectives.
- Craft technical roadmaps that align with the organization's strategic direction whilst being cognizant of promoting technology innovation.
- Lead teams across the Technology organization through facilitative leadership, influence, and collaboration.
- Provide vision, strategic direction, and outside-the-box thinking to create new concepts associated with the deployment of a specific technology across the organization.
- Set technology direction based on deep subject matter knowledge and may have ownership over large components.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from a top institution preferred. PhD in Computer Science highly desirable.
- 15+ years of experience preferred, with deep and broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies that affect the business.
- Demonstrated Executive and commercial presence, strong written and oral communications, solid judgement, reasoning, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience collaborating and influencing teams across geographies and a matrix structure.
- Patents, publications, and/or technical presentations to industry groups desirable.
