      The position

      Reporting to the Corporate Vice President, you will hold a critical leadership position within the business and act as a trusted and solution-oriented partner to the Leadership Team and other key stakeholders, both at an affiliate and regional level. Leading a highly capable and professional team, you will set the direction on all legal, quality and compliance matters, implementing robust legal, quality and compliance frameworks that ensure our business ethics are never compromised and embed a strong ethics, quality and compliance mindset across the business.

      Qualifications

      You will be a qualified lawyer with solid post qualification experience with a thorough understanding of UK & European legislation. You will have significant experience of working within the pharmaceutical sector, having worked in a similar capacity heading up legal and compliance teams, ideally within global and highly matrixed complex organisations.

      Additionally, you will need to demonstrate the following experience and skills:

      • Extensive experience of developing and implementing compliance frameworks and advising on regulatory matters, including a thorough understanding of the ABPI code and GDPR
      • You will be able to provide strategic leadership and effectively manage the team to deliver high quality outputs as well as the ability to develop talent and foster a culture of inclusion and equal opportunity for all
      • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships at all levels in a matrix environment
      • Good balance between ability to get involved in day-to-day matters, whilst also taking a strategic view
      • Can negotiate and positively influence decision-making as well as the gravitas to advise various stakeholders at all levels

For this purpose, we provide legal support to all departments, ensure that the company acts in an ethical manner and make sure that our products reach patients in the best possible condition.

      Reporting to the Corporate Vice President UK, you will be a part of the Leadership Team, which is responsible for driving business for the UK affiliate. As Senior LC&Q Director, you will lead a team of eight engaged and passionate professionals.
