What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate clarity of the employer's vision, strategy, and values, ensuring consistent messaging for all audiences
- Manage day-to-day operations of the communications function, driving execution and providing leadership
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align communication strategies with business objectives
- Develop and execute external communication strategies to promote the employer’s brand, products, and services
- Create and manage a proactive media relations program and an effective crisis management strategy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role
- Proven experience in managing internal and external communications for small to medium organizations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire confidence among senior leaders and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience advising and coaching executive leadership on communication-related issues
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and rapport-building
