About the Senior Director of Sports Partnerships The Senior Director of Sports Partnerships is responsible for leadership at the system level to develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate sports partnerships and marketing efforts that effectively support Orlando Health’s mission, vision, and operations. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic goals that support Orlando Health’s mission, vision, and operations. Work with the Assistant Vice President of External Affairs and Community Benefit to develop and maintain high profile relationships with key sports partners and organizations to promote Orlando Health’s services and drive business. Oversee the integration and management of corporate social responsibility efforts with sports partners. Lead the development and implementation of a strong, cohesive sports partnership brand for Orlando Health. Collaborate with Orlando Health departments to help implement growth strategies related to sports partnerships, orthopedics, and other identified areas of care. Collaborate with Marketing and Communication team to leverage partnerships to promote the Orlando Health brand and services. Act as lead management support between physicians, organized sports, and athletic partnerships and as a lead conduit in supporting strategies, which ultimately drive net-new business for Orlando Health. Work with external partners to leverage Orlando Health’s relationships with new and existing sports partners. Support Marketing and Communication team and sites i.e., Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in building volume in identified areas. Utilizes planning tools including research, market assessment, market segmentation, and strategic development and tactics such as brand development, outreach (health fairs, screens), promotion/strategic partnerships, advertising and collaterals, promotional products, direct mail (customer relationship marketing), special events, media relations, community relations and sponsorships, physician relations, web, and speaker’s bureau. Responsible for tracking and addressing sports partner and athlete needs and expectations and modeling demand for services. Support leadership in strategic planning for current and future efforts. Support physician and team member engagement. Identify, actively engage, build, and manage collaborative relationships with leadership, service line leadership, physicians, and other internal and external partners to promote sports partnership initiatives and tell Orlando Health’s story. Work with Community Benefit, Government Affairs and Public Policy, Community Relations, Diversity and Minority Business Development, Media Relations, and the Assistant Vice President of External Affairs and Community Benefit to coordinate and implement community activities related to sports. Responsibilities may include gathering information, materials and resources, monitoring timelines for implementation, volunteer management and event evaluation by making discretionary decisions about event planning, implementation, and evaluation. Oversee communications to keep leadership, team members, sports partners, athletes, and community informed of Sports Partnerships’ activities, opportunities, and efforts. Maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Qualifications Education/Training Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, community relations, mass communication, or related field required. Master's degree preferred. Experience Five (5) years of experience in a leadership role in marketing, operations, sports management, healthcare, or related field.
