      Role Summary

      Reporting to the Managing Director, Operational Readiness & Enablement leader, this role will work as a critical leader owning the development and execution of all key operational enablement functions to deliver on our brand promise to aligned stakeholders and enabling a best-in-class service experience in healthcare. This leader will be responsible for leading enablement teams that support the day-to-day Customer Service Operations and Evernorth Pharmacy Operations, including:

      • Coaching and Facilitation
      • Quality
      • Learning and Development
      • Onboarding and Early Career

      Key accountabilities of this role include:

      • Serves as a trusted partner to our Customer Service and Evernorth Pharmacy internal customers in understanding the business needs and translating that into an effective support model.
      • Serves as a trusted partner to the Managing Director in understanding the vision of the Readiness and Enablement organization and translating that into an effective support model.
      • Acts as a strategist for future enablement needs to support the evolution of our business and workforce.
      • Drives efficiency and effectiveness in delivery with a focus on continuous improvement.
      • Works collaboratively with the Senior Leaders across the Customer Service Operations and Evernorth Pharmacy Ops organizations to support the quality, coaching, learning & development and early career business needs.
      • Leads and provides continuous development to a top talent team that drives results and strong partnerships.
      • Responsible for driving cultural change as well as performance and behaviors to achieve the Enterprise Operations results aligned with our broader strategy.
      • Steward the financial management of a $15+ million organization

      Qualifications and Competencies

      • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree desirable.
      • A seasoned, respected leader with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the health services industry with specific experience in managing multiple aspects of the business operations.
      • Experience in leading enablement (Quality, Coaching, L&D) teams in a health services environment
      • Proven track record of resilience, empathy, strong listening skills and the ability to work through challenging business situation in a highly collaborative way to drive the right business outcomes.
      • Demonstrated results in being able to think strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends, and incorporate them into both a short-term and long-term organizational plan
      • Thorough understanding of finance, systems, and HR; broad experience with the full range of business functions and systems, including strategic development and planning, budgeting, business analysis, finance, information systems, human resources, and marketing
      • Ability to think strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends, and incorporate them into the organizational plan
      • Exceptional capacity leading and influencing cross-functional teams; ability to connect staff both on an individual level and in large groups; capacity to enforce accountability, develop and empower top-notch leaders from the bottom up, cultivate entrepreneurship, and learn the strengths and weaknesses of the team so as to put people in a position to succeed.
      • Strong persuasion skills and effective communicator; ability to create and communicate a compelling vision internally and externally.
