      Your Role

      The Senior Director, Product Management is a pivotal leadership role within Stellarus/Blue Shield of California, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the commercialization of the Stellarus product offering roadmap. Commercialization includes executing the product strategy for operations, including go-to-market models, business, and implementation requirements. You will manage multiple product segments within the center of excellence product squad, working closely with cross-functional teams to advance products through discovery, definition, build, and launch stages. These teams include market segments, technology, data, operations, customer success, and marketing. The portfolio includes offerings that serve multiple health plan lines of business, such as member experience, healthcare costs, pharmacy, digital health records, and others aligned with strategic business directions.

      Reporting and Responsibilities

      You will report directly to the Vice President of Product and will be responsible for implementing best-in-class product offerings. Your accountability includes delivering product performance, market impact, and customer adoption. You will ensure that our technology and service offerings are effectively brought to market, implemented, maintained, and continuously improved. Your goal is to enhance market position, customer satisfaction, and the overall success of Stellarus/BSC.

      Your Knowledge and Experience

      • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
      • 12+ years in Product Management, Management Consulting, Technology Strategy, or Entrepreneurship, including 6 years in management roles such as team leader, supervisor, or project/program manager
      • 10 years of product management experience in health plans
      • 10 years of product strategy experience in health plans and health systems
      • Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills
      • Ability to communicate with and influence leadership
      • Entrepreneurially spirited and visionary, with start-up mentality and experience building product teams and offerings from zero to one
