- Oversee proposal development and operations providing strategic guidance, recommendations, and leadership to proposal teams
- Drive organizational success in opportunity pursuits by leading the development and implementation of successful proposal strategies and themes, and conduct post-proposal activities, as needed, including After Action Reviews
- Ensure all GWFS proposals are timely, compliant, and compelling, maximizing GWFS’ win probability
- Support multiple GWFS service line business development efforts and streamline proposal support
- Be a key contributor in the enhancement of proposal processes and to the overall business development lifecycle
- Contribute to and/or lead Color Team reviews
- Interfacing with and managing external resources to adequately and proportionately manage proposal efforts
- Manage, develop, and produce proposal responses to include writing and DTP as needed
- 10+ Years’ proposal experience supporting Federal, State, and Local Customers
- The successful candidate will have well developed governance, bid management and development skills, and be capable of working on highly competitive pursuits
- Excellent time management skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment with short turnarounds
- Detail and quality oriented with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Must possess excellent written communication skills, to include proposal writing and editing
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree required
- APMP, Shipley certification (preferred)
- Experience with proposals and opportunity pursuits in security, medical, or response logistics sectors considered a plus

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
POSITION SUMMARY INFORMATION: DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Job Summary:
Leads proposal operations, development, and management for GWFS and will report directly to the Vice President of Proposal Development and Pricing and be dotted lined to the Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Capture. The selected candidate will be an active leader within the GWFS Leadership Team, engaging with multifaceted teams and other senior leaders to execute successful proposal efforts and support other various business development objectives.

Work Environment:
Primarily Remote with expectation to travel to GWFS offices and customer locations anywhere in the U.S., as needed to grow the business line.
Employees may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
Physical Requirements:
Employees may be required to remain in a stationary position, stand, push, pull, climb, kneel, crawl, balance, squat, bend, and reach during shifts. Employees may be also required to use gear to move items around, including, but not limited to, carts and dollies. Employees may also be occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 49 pounds.
