      As a Senior Director, you will lead the strategy and execution of our soft goods product development and sourcing operations across the Americas. From plush and pillows to home textiles and beyond, you’ll drive innovation and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of soft goods. You’ll be at the forefront of optimizing our supplier base, elevating quality standards, and ensuring cost efficiency, while managing a high-performing regional team and a robust vendor network across North, Central, and South America. Your leadership will be key in delivering best-in-class products on time and at scale.

      What you will do:

      • Lead and manage end-to-end sourcing and manufacturing operations for soft goods across the Americas region, including supplier selection, negotiation, performance monitoring, and compliance.
      • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support product innovation, quality improvement, cost optimization, and sustainability goals.
      • Build and maintain strong partnerships with domestic factories and vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and scalable production capabilities.
      • Partner closely with cross-functional Product Development, Design, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align on business priorities, materials, component parts, and timelines.
      • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply risks.
      • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and vendor management practices.
      • Manage and develop a regional team of sourcing and production professionals, providing mentorship, clear KPIs, and professional growth opportunities.
      • Oversee budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics across all soft goods categories in the Americas.
      • Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing standards, environmental regulations, and corporate social responsibility guidelines.
      • Be knowledgeable and stay up to date on textile manufacturing technologies and materials to help innovate and improve designs while maintaining profitability.

      • This role is responsible for all aspects of performance management for their team, including managing and mentoring assigned team, fostering professional growth and high standards.

      What we are looking for:

      • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field, or commensurate mix of experience and education
      • 10+ years of progressive experience in sourcing and manufacturing within soft goods, textiles, or home products, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
      • Component part / material management and related global supply chain experience.
      • Experience in working with cross-functional and international teams in a fast-paced, consumer goods environment.
      • In-depth knowledge of soft goods categories, including plush, pillows, and home textiles.
      • Strong understanding of domestic (Americas) manufacturing, supplier networks, and sourcing strategies.
      • Familiarity with compliance standards, ethical sourcing practices, and sustainability initiatives.
      • Working knowledge of product development processes, from concept through production.
      • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
      • Strong negotiation, financial acumen, and strategic planning skills.
      • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
      • Deep understanding of the domestic manufacturing landscape and vendor ecosystem within the Americas.
      • Strategic sourcing and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to drive cost efficiencies and supplier performance.
      • Financial and operational acumen, including budget management and KPI-driven decision-making.
      • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives across functions and regions.
      • Proficient in supply chain systems, ERP tools, and Google Office Suite; PLM system experience is a plus.
      • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
      • Ability to build and lead high-performing cross-functional and regional teams.
      • Ability to analyze market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform sourcing strategies.
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
      • Multilingual is a plus

      • Schedule: Typically requires regular office hours; however, may require calls with global counterparts outside of regular office hours

      • Travel Required: National or international travel up to 50% of the time

      What we offer:

      The base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.

      Our work environment provides a flexible work schedule that includes a Monday through Thursday on-site, with an optional WFH on Fridays, up to 20 workdays fully remote each year, and Time Off for vacation and sick leave.
