Overview The IT Senior Director of G&A will provide technology leadership and support for all systems and initiatives within the company's General and Administrative functions including Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Corp Dev & Strategy, Facilities and more. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Technologies, this position will partner with G&A leaders to optimize business performance through effective use of technology and process optimization. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute the IT strategy and roadmap for the company's G&A functions to enable operational efficiency, data-driven decisions and regulatory compliance. - Lead planning, budgeting and implementation of new systems and technologies that support finance, accounting, HRIS, legal, compliance, facilities, corporate Development and Strategy as well as other potential G&A expertise area. - Provide hands-on leadership for core platforms including HRIS, Corporate Development and Strategy as well as Strategic guidance for Finance, Legal and Compliance. - Oversee complex integrations between G&A systems and other enterprise platforms. - Continuously identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies such as process automation, AI/ML, data visualization and more to enhance G&A operations. - Build trusted relationships with G&A leaders to understand objectives, challenges and opportunities and selectively look for opportunities to add value via the strategic introduction of technology. Serve as a strategic advisor and an advocate for the respective EA. -Introduce an external perspective for the G&A Expertise area keeping pace with Best Practices in the industry and applying those practices when they make sense for Alnylam - Recruit, develop and retain an exceptional team of IT professionals to support G&A systems and technologies. - Institute IT governance, controls, security measures and compliance protocols for G&A systems and data. - Optimize costs through evaluation of cloud solutions, vendor management and other strategies. Qualifications - 15+ years of IT leadership experience including managing enterprise applications. - Deep knowledge of technologies supporting finance, HR, legal and facilities functions. - Proven ability to deliver complex IT programs on time and on budget. - Excellent relationship building, communication and presentation skills. - Strategic orientation with business acumen. - Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science required. MBA preferred.
