- Develops and executes a Total Rewards strategy that encompasses compensation, benefits, recognition, and other rewards programs that enhance our employee value proposition and align with our business goals.
- Builds and leads a high-performing Total Rewards team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members.
- Leads the design, implementation, and management of compensation programs, including job architecture, incentive plans, and equity-based programs. Ensures that compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Oversees the selection and management of benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other employee benefits. Collaborates with benefits providers to optimize offerings while managing costs effectively.
- Partners with the Chief People Officer (CPO) in support of deliverables (executive compensation evaluation, agenda setting and annual calendar, data/analytics, presentations, etc.) for the Compensation Committee.
- Manages the Request for Proposals (RFP) process with benefits providers. This includes defining requirements, evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, and selecting providers that offer the best value and fit for the organization.
- Utilizes data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of Total Rewards programs, making data-driven recommendations to enhance the overall employee experience and organizational performance.
- Ensures that all compensation and benefits programs comply with applicable laws and regulations, including tax laws, labor laws, and industry standards.
- Develops communication strategies to effectively communicate Total Rewards programs to employees and ensure they understand the value of their compensation and benefits. Provides education and support to employees on their rewards packages.
- Manages relationships with benefits providers, consultants, and other vendors to ensure they deliver on their commitments and provide exceptional service to the organization and its employees.
- Develops and manages the Total Rewards budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness while delivering competitive and attractive rewards packages.
- Annual Travel: 5-10% of the year as needed for company meetings.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations, tax implications, and industry best practices.
- High level of integrity and ethics in managing sensitive compensation and benefits data.
- Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders in decision-making processes.
- Proven ability in building and leading high-performing teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and market conditions in designing and managing compensation and benefits programs.
- Strong commitment to accuracy and precision in managing compensation and benefits data and programs.
- Understanding of how compensation and benefits programs integrate with performance management systems to drive employee engagement and productivity.
- Awareness of current market trends in compensation and benefits to ensure competitiveness and attractiveness of the organization’s offerings.
- Commitment to understanding and meeting the various needs of internal stakeholders from employees to executive leadership.
- 15+ years of experience in Leading Total Rewards, including compensation, benefits, and recognition programs, with a proven track record of success in a senior leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field, strongly preferred.
- Experience with designing and implementing comprehensive total rewards strategies.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic a Senior Director of Total Rewards to establish and lead a global Total Rewards function within our TrueBlue Human Resources department. This critical role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy that aligns with our organization's objectives and supports our efforts to attract, develop, reward, and retain our talent.

The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $184,000 - $230,000 per year. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
