      The eCommerce Merchandise Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the online merchandising efforts of a leading eCommerce brand. This role is a temporary contract position for approximately 6 months of time.

      This position involves managing product listings, coordinating with the marketing and creative teams, analyzing sales data, and ensuring the online store is optimized for both customer experience and sales performance. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for eCommerce and digital merchandising.

      Responsibilities

      • Product Management:
        • Assist in the creation, uploading, and maintenance of product listings, including descriptions, pricing, images, and inventory levels on the eCommerce platform.
        • Collaborate with the buying and inventory teams to ensure accurate product availability and timely updates to the online store.
        • Optimize product discovery and site merchandising using Algolia and Shopify’s native tools.
      • Content Coordination:
        • Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure product pages are visually appealing and consistent with the brand’s identity.
        • Update and manage promotional banners, product collections, and category pages based on seasonal trends and marketing campaigns.
      • Cross-Department Collaboration:
        • Collaborate with the customer service team to address product-related inquiries and issues promptly.

      Requirements

      • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, retail merchandising, or a similar role.
      • Experience with search tools like Algolia, Content Stack (CMS)
      • Proficiency in eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
      • Strong understanding of online merchandising, product listings, and inventory management.
      • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
      • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
      • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus

      This is a contract position, the pay range is $50-$60 USD per hour. The hourly pay range listed is an estimate and may vary based on skills, experience, location, and project requirements. Final rates will be confirmed at the time of offer.
