      We are currently seeking a Senior Facilities Manager who has the technical background and experience to join our Auckland based Facilities Management team to manage a large interesting diverse portfolio.

      About the Role:

      • Lead the proactive identification, scoping and solutions for Capex projects and manage these from inception to completion.

      • Providing technical advice and proactive solutions to our client along with providing innovative ideas to enhance their business operations and maximise the value of our client’s assets.

      • Building and maintaining positive and effective relationships with our client and maximising the delivery aligned to the clients Master Services Agreement.

      • Working as part of a Facilities Management team to effectively and efficiently manage reactive / planned property maintenance including actively managing KPI including attendance and completion times.

      • Management of subcontractors, and suppliers where required, including liaising with internal Trade Services Divisions to deliver a broad scope of services and projects.

      • Ensure all works are undertaken safely and consistent with Cushman & Wakefield and legislative safety requirements.

      • Proven track record of maintaining and preparing budgets and strong financial acumen.

      About You:

      • Our ideal person will have a minimum of five years’ experience in a Facilities Management role, ideally in an outsourced FM environment with a strong project management focus.

      • Must have a good understanding of commercial/retail/industrial facilities maintenance, with preference of a technical or trade background. Solid experience with building assets/ building fabric projects/upgrades is desirable.

      • Prince2 or similar practitioners would also be advantageous.

      • Able to directly engage with and manage a combination of self delivery trades teams and key subcontractors, therefore people/vendor management experience is highly beneficial.
