Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a unique and complex organisation, in theFinancial Planning and Reporting team where you will have an opportunity toget involved in a number of key functions across the Trust including CorporateBusiness Partnering, Capital Programme delivery, and the general FinancialManagement of the Trust's Charitable Funds. Working with the Head of Financial Planning and Reporting you will get insight into Welsh Government and Trust Board reporting, have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the overall Trust Financial strategy, and help support the development and future aspirations of growth within the Charity.
The Senior Finance Business Partner is a senior finance role within Velindre University NHS Trust, and we are seeking a fully qualified accountant to join our team. Whilst NHS experience is desirable, it is not essential, and individuals with relevant skills and experience are very welcome to apply. Main duties of the job
The Senior Finance & Reporting Business Partner is a senior finance professional within Velindre University NHS Trust and will report to the Head of Financial Planning & Reporting.
The key elements of the post include leading on the production of annual budgets and producing an accurate monthly financial position and annual forecast position.
A key area of responsibility for the role will be supporting financial performance reporting, working with the Head of Financial Planning and Reporting to support the timely and accurate preparation and presentation of Trust wide financial reports and forecasts.
The role will support delivery of the Capital programme ensuring management of the Trust's Capital Expenditure Limit (CEL) with key internal links to the capital planning and estates department.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
