What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct detailed costing analysis for SaaS offerings, including infrastructure and licensing components
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate pricing strategies and recommendations
- Prepare executive-ready presentations and financial reports, translating complex analysis into actionable insights
- Track and report on key performance indicators related to pricing effectiveness and cost optimization
- Support analytical initiatives to uncover profit improvement opportunities and contribute to special projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Mathematics, or related field
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance roles, focusing on cost accounting, FP&A, or pricing analysis
- 2-3 years of experience in the technology industry, preferably in software, cloud, or SaaS environments
- Strong understanding of financial statements, particularly P&L dynamics and profitability drivers
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modeling and complex data analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis in software or technology companies
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure costs (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of professional services and support cost modeling
- Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- CPA, CFA, or CMA certification (beneficial but not required)
