Transflo is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. This role is critical in driving strategic decision-making through advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and insightful analysis. You will partner with leadership to optimize financial performance and support long-term planning.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Own liquidity forecasting and debt covenant analysis, including monitor-ing leverage ratios and covenant compliance.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Collaborate with business units to align financial goals and gather accurate data.
• Support annual budget and monthly forecast processes, including cause-of-change explanations.
• Monitor KPIs and business metrics; identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership and board meetings.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects/ad hoc requests.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Technical Expertise:
o Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
o Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, and corporate fi-nance principles
o Experience with Planful and NetSuite for financial planning and ERP processes.
o Expertise in cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
o Familiarity with BI tools and financial planning software.
• Leadership & Strategy:
o Ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.
o Strong business acumen with a focus on process improvement.
o Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
o Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Education & Experience:
o Experience with SaaS and/or subscription-based business models.
o Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
o 5+ years of experience in FP&A or related financial analysis roles.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with advanced analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages.
• Familiarity with treasury operations and capital structure planning.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and mentor junior analysts.
• Experience with an exit or liquidity event, including financial modeling and scenario planning for M&A or IPO processes.About the company
