      As part of our continuing growth in this high technology market, Teledyne Digital Imaging Inc. is recruiting for an Assistant Controller in Waterloo !

      Position Summary:

      The Assistant Controller will play a crucial role in our finance team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day financial accounting operations, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, and supporting the Controller in various finance-related tasks.


      What you will do :

      • Manage and oversee daily BU financial support.

      • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other regulations.

      • Review and support of internal controls and financial procedures.

      • Support month-end and year-end close processes.

      • Lead and coordinate annual budget planning and monthly forecasting activities.

      • Coordinate and support external auditors and ensure timely and accurate completion of audits.

      • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

      • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

      What You Need :

      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

      • CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.

      • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.

      • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

      • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

      • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

      • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

      • Proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
