What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft, edit, and review federal grant applications with meticulous attention to detail
- Conduct thorough research to identify federal grant opportunities aligning with the organization's objectives
- Manage grant writing projects effectively, demonstrating strong planning and organizational skills
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather relevant information for grant applications
- Automate workflows and document procedures to enhance efficiency in the grant writing process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven track record in federal grant writing with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees preferred
- Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong grasp of grammar and formatting
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and virtual meeting platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Grant Professional Certified (GPC) designation preferred, but not required
- Experience with multiple technology and software platforms, such as Dropbox and Google Docs
