      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage proposal preparation and submission, ensuring adherence to sponsor guidelines and compliance
      - Serve as a liaison between faculty and department administrators regarding grant management
      - Oversee budget management and financial reconciliation for complex sponsored projects
      - Coordinate submission of annual agency reports and monitor compliance with grant terms
      - Facilitate the closure of complex sponsored project accounts and ensure timely submission of final reports

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and/or experience
      - Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in grant administration
      - Ability to stay current on federal and university developments regarding research administration
      - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of S2S, Research Management System (RMS), and SUBS system
      - Familiarity with agency guidelines and grant administration processes
      - Skills in accounting processes, analytical thinking, and deadline management
      - Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics and Microsoft Office
      - Ability to learn new technologies and maintain composure under pressure
