What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and manage complex projects related to hospital information systems
- Ensure system compliance with all regulatory agencies as appropriate
- Coordinate the installation of software and/or hardware for hospital systems
- Oversee the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for system implementation and support
- Assist in creating an inclusive workplace that fosters teamwork and resolves conflicts constructively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration, a health-related discipline, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in information systems, preferably within a hospital environment
- Prior experience with Epic applications is highly desirable
- Ability to develop and manage complex project work plans
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in a service-oriented environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Management or supervisory experience in a health-related setting
- Direct experience with electronic medical records systems
- Completion of certification on an Epic application specified by management within 6 months of training
