      Role Summary

      The Senior HR Operations Coordinator will provide routine clerical/administrative support to our HR Shared Services area of Human Resources. This position will be responsible for processing onboarding, recording employee data, responding to routine questions, maintain HR compliance and gathering and filing or processing information. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

      Key Role Responsibilities - Core

      HR COORINATOR FAMILY - CORE

      • Processes, verifies, and maintains documentation relating to personnel activities.
      • Records data for each employee and/or applicant such as: address, pay, performance, location, benefits, etc. Gathers, organizes, and files personnel records.
      • Creates, maintains and updates various databases for tracking and reporting purposes.
      • Responds to routine questions on human resources policies and procedures.
      • Prepares reports, invoices, forms, letters, and other documents used in the human resources function.

      Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core

      SENIOR HR COORDINATOR

      In addition, this position will be responsible for the following:

      • Analyze the data and provide process improvement recommendations.
      • Independently facilitate a process.
      • Contribute to broader initiatives by providing functional knowledge for their assigned area.
      • Administer the assigned programs – understand, communicate, educate, and provide guidance.
      • HR Technology- understand and provide guidance on requirements for assigned areas, troubleshoot, embrace, understand and fully use.
      • Process recommendations for their assigned function - identify and be able to recommend improvements for their assigned area of expertise.
      • Process review for accuracy and data correctness.
      • Develop and map out own processes and work process through a variety of means – Excel and PPT.
      • Document and communicate work function process through a variety of means.
      • Responsible for invoice and expense processing.

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

      • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
      • Communication skills, verbal and written.
      • Ability to effectively communicate with customers .
      • Knowledge and understanding of the HR processes and compliance.
      • Organizational skills
      • Listening skills
      • Ability to deliver quality through attention to detail
      • Proficiency in MS Office
      • Ability to learn and use a variety of software, tools and systems necessary to meet business needs
      • Thorough knowledge of organizational structure and available resources
      • Ability to quickly and effectively solve problems
      • Thorough knowledge of HR processes for their assigned areas
      • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally

      Education

      • High School/GED or equivalent (Required)
      • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field (Preferred)
      • In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered

      Experience

      • 2+ years Human Resources experience (Required)

      Working Environment

      • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
      • Typically travel is not required
      • Normal office environment
      • Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen
      • Occasional activity: Standing, Walking, Bending, Climbing, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling
