What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, prepare, and interpret statistical analyses of insurance sales and claims experience to support strategic decisions
- Present analysis and proposals to stakeholder groups to address mid to high-level business problems
- Employ statistical techniques to model underwriting and pricing business practices
- Collaborate with peers and management to analyze complex business problems and key performance measures
- Communicate results and strategies across departments to inform critical business decisions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Math, Statistics, Data/Business Analytics, or a relevant quantitative field, or equivalent experience
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Highly effective communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with data analysis software like R, SAS, Python, or Power BI
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in auto insurance; experience in Commercial Auto is a plus
