What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, design, build, validate, test, implement, and support interfaces between the electronic EMR and Clinical/Ancillary systems
- Utilize expert knowledge of HL7, AIX/Unix environment, and scripting for interface development
- Organize and lead interface specification meetings to gather customer requirements and build implementation project plans
- Analyze workflows, gather requirements, and support maintenance related to EMRs
- Provide customer service to define business needs and translate them into interface functionality requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Required experience with EPIC Beaker, Interconnect, Cloverleaf, and strong HL7 skills
- Epic Certification required
- Minimum of 6 years of experience providing systems support
- Experience interacting with clinical or business areas to gather and understand workflow and technical requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in healthcare environments
- Familiarity with electronic medical record applications and clinical systems databases
