What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review research submissions to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, institutional policies, and guidelines
- Collaborate with researchers and students to complete reviews accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide support to the IRB Committee, including composing agendas and drafting meeting minutes
- Offer regulatory and ethical consultation and education to faculty and student researchers
- Assist the IRB Director in improving operations and policies, and coordinate compliance activities

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: College or university degree in a related field
- 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
- Strong understanding of ethical principles and federal regulations related to human subjects research
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree preferred
- Three or more years of experience as an IRB administrator or equivalent
- Experience with online IRB protocol management software such as CLICK
- Certified IRB Professional (CIP) preferred or to be obtained within 1 year of employment
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
