Job Description
- Req#: BULG07382
- Provide all companies with the appropriate legal counseling on all matters of a legal nature or which may have legal implications and as required by administration/organization/compliance (intercompany agreements, delegation of powers, corporate and compliance matters)
- Support all companies in the negotiation and drawing up of contracts required by the business activities in accordance with Group procedure;
- Give legal advice in connection to prevent disputes in which any company of the Group is or may be involved in coordination with General Counsel’s guidelines;
- Provide legal advice and assistance on the setting up of new companies and corporate restructuring in coordination with local counsel;
- Select and coordinate the work of consultants worldwide on issues which are to be handled with local legal support;
- Support the DPO office on all applicable privacy and data protection matters with special focus on the maintenance of the GDPR framework and the engineering of the relevant processes;
- Support the CSR and Ethics & Compliance Departments on questions of interpretation of law and deployment of procedures on compliance issues on matters concerning certification projects on voluntary industry standards (such as Responsible Jewellery Council, Kimberly Process etc..). anti-corruption, money laundering, international sanctions etc.;
- Support the Internal Control on matters concerning the maintenance and updating of the Organization Model pursuant to the Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 (“Modello 231”).
- University degree in Law;
- About 4-5 years of work experience in multinational companies or in a first-rate business law firm;
- problem-solving skills, flexibility, able to deal with ambiguity
- team management skills,
- Fluent English, both spoken and written

The Senior Legal Counsel, reporting to the Regulatory and Corporate Affairs Senior Legal Manager, supports the various departments and companies of the Group in managing all legal issues, taking into account the Group’s objectives, the national and the international regulations, as well as company’s policies and procedures.
