What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide acquisition support services for procurement requirements related to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
- Develop and administer construction and architect-engineering solicitation packages in accordance with FAR and VAAR regulations
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to standardize service requirements and improve acquisition plans
- Conduct gap analyses and provide advisory support for procurement packages
- Lead and provide technical direction to lower-level acquisition personnel
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in acquisition support services
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR)
- Experience developing and administering complex service contracts and modifications
- Familiarity with real property leasing and non-medical agreements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C Level I, II, or III) or equivalent certification
- Experience with healthcare contracts and medical language
- Proficiency in MS Teams, SharePoint, and government contract writing systems
- Familiarity with Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) and Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS-NG)
