      Job Title: Senior LIMS Business Analyst

      Location(s): Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

      Job Summary:

      Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation of a STARLIMS LPH Laboratory Information Management System used for environmental and clinical sample testing. The consultant will work with a team of analysts responsible for multiple laboratory systems and web portals, participating in discovery, requirements gathering, system validation, testing, and stakeholder engagement activities.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Participate in STARLIMS application discovery and training activities.
      • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
      • Support STARLIMS configuration validation and quality assurance efforts.
      • Develop test plans, test cases, user stories, and execute testing activities.
      • Create business requirements documents, functional specifications, and solution designs.
      • Analyze laboratory workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
      • Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements sessions.
      • Provide project updates and manage stakeholder expectations.
      • Analyze data and generate insights to support business decisions.
      • Collaborate with technical and laboratory teams throughout the SDLC.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Experience working in a laboratory environment or supporting laboratory systems.
      • LIMS implementation experience.
      • Strong Business Analysis experience.
      • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
      • Requirements elicitation and documentation.
      • QA testing, validation, and test case development.
      • Process analysis and workflow optimization.
      • Stakeholder management and communication.
      • Data analysis and problem-solving skills.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, Azure DevOps.
