Job Description Our client, a leading beverage company, is currently seeking an accomplished Senior Maintenance Manager to join the team. Here is an overview of the role: 1) Perform studies to identify manufacturing and energy efficiency improvement opportunities in all areas of the plant 2) Maintain existing equipment and improve control systems in the existing plant 3) Update and maintain documentation such as material balances, P&IDs and automation functional descriptions 4) Participate in the development of project briefs and detailed scopes 5) Obtain and analyze operating data, as needed 6) Prepare evaluations of process schemes 7) Demonstrate safety leadership in both day-to-day activities and by incorporation in process design 8) Educate and coaching of operations and maintenance personnel to facilitate understanding of new processes 9) Lead or participate in safety reviews, such as HAZOP 10) Assist the Safety and Environmental Manager as necessary by implementing environmental improvement initiatives 11) Provide oversight of contractor process design performance 12) Participate in the preparation and submittal of regulatory permits 13) Participate in planning for commissioning and start-up 14) Maintain complete project chronology of process design revisions for use in validating contract change orders 15) Perform other duties as assigned Critical Requirements 1) A university degree is required.
